2 Chorale preludes on `Jezus is mijn toeverlaat´

Two pastiches by Feike Asma. Reger's chorale preludes served as a model for the first, while the second is based on Bach's "Herr Gott, nun schleuss den Himmel ab". Although Asma did not quite match his examples, these are charming preludes in themselves. The chorale theme is a Dutch version of the well-known German hymn "Jesu meine Zuversicht". The compositions were published in "Vier Koraalmelodieën voor Orgel" (1947).
