Software: Hauptwerk VIII
Genre: Romantic
Description:
I wanted to try the Annaberg organ and thought Mendelssohn would fit. And yes, he does. It is a beautiful organ and I enjoy it very much to play on it.

The St. Annen Church is located in Annaberg in Saxony, Germany. A very special feature of this church: it is the last church in Germany where a so called "Türmer" (maybe "towerman", the guardian of the town) lives with his family above in the tower of the church. Many many years ago the task of the Türmer was to look out if enemies draw near or if there is somewhere a fire in the town. And if happend something like that he had to ring the bells to warn the people.
