Hans Eklund (1927–1999) — Lamento per organo (1998)

Swedish composer Hans Eklund (1927–1999) was born in Sandviken and educated in Stockholm (with Ake Udden and Lars-Erik Larsson), in Berlin (with Ernst Pepping), and in Rome. Eklund was professor of harmony and counterpoint for many years at the Stockholm Academy of Music. He wrote numerous works in many forms, including twelve orchestral symphonies, a requiem, four string quartets, and numerous concerti and chamber pieces.
