Kees Schoonenbeek (b. 1947) — Song without Words I (2010) for organ
Dutch composer Kees Schoonenbeek (b. 1947) was born in Arnheim and was educated at the conservatory there and in Tilburg. He taught on the composition faculty of the Brabants Conservatorium in Tilburg beginning in 1975. Schoonenbeek’s diverse catalog includes musical works in many forms, including a particular interest in music for wind ensembles and brass band. His music has won numerous awards and has been performed throughout the world.
