Lambert Kleesattel (b. 1959) — Melancholie (2021) for organ
German church musician and composer Lambert Kleesattel (b. 1959) was educated in Cologne and was appointed organist and choir director at St. Andreas in Wesseling. Since 1998 he has been responsible for regional supervision regarding questions of liturgy and music, and in 2014 he began teaching composition to church music students in the Catholic Archdiocese of Cologne. Kleesattel has published a number of organ and choral works and has also edited many forgotten works of the romantic era.
