Software: | Hauptwerk VIII |
Genre: | Medieval and Renaissance |
Description: | This suite is an extract from various secular dances from the extensive “Terpsichore” by Michael Praetorius (ca. 1571-1621).
I was inspired by Sietze de Vries (from whom I also took the idea of the “drum effect” in the Spagnoletta) and especially his live concert last year in Riegel (Germany) on an extraordinary organ by Riegner & Friedrich, built in 1991 in North German style - see my profile picture.
