Description:
Certainly one of the best-known organ compositions by Niels W. Gade (1817-1890). This recording was already planned with a different set when the new SP set was announced yesterday. I was therefore tempted to try out some registrations with this instrument. They are based on the coupled 1st and 2nd manual (the 3rd is only used for the short interlude).
