When finishing my recording of prelude by Scheidemann on the sample set of Stralsund, I suddenly remembered I recorded this piece before, a few months back, but on the Pinerolo organ model. Listening back, the difference in interpretation is quite big, besides that the organs and rooms are different too. I have my preference, but judge for yourself.

Scheidemann was a German composer and organist. He studied with Sweelinck in Amsterdam and became organist of the Katharinenkirche in Hamburg. Reincken was his student. He is considered as one of the first composers of the North German organ school (with composers like Buxtehude and Böhm).
