As for the Regensburg Dom, Thomas (Forestpipes) proposes us the recording of both organs of the Waldsassen church. Today (as I feel a little better) I recorded some works on the choir organ. You hear in this recording this choir organ as if you were siting on the bank of the great organ, but not in the nave in front of this organ. Of course, all settings are possible.
I propose you first a work composed by Johann Michael Steinbacher (1700-1741),the fourth Parthia in G (Capricio, Scherzo, Pastorella, Menuets, Siciliano, Guigue).
The second piece
10:00 is a Pavane composed by the french composer Ernest BOHN (1914-2013). All 8 feet stops together show that the choir organ has also interresting fundation stops.
To finish (
14:54) I propose another partita (Here Jezus, om uw woord) from one of my favorite composers, Theo Meurs. His partitas are not only very nicely composed, they help to show variety of colors of an organ.
Don't forget, please, that it's only the BETA version of the sample.
