Multicolor improvisation on Angel's Song (Waldsassen Beta)

This is my ninth demo of the upcoming sample set by Forestpipes: Waldsassen, Stiftsbasilika (you hear the Beta-version).

It is an improvisation with some variations on the hymn 'Awake, my soul, and with the sun', a melody by Orlando Gibbons called 'Angel's Song'.

A lot of colors of the Waldsassen instrument are demonstrated:

- Starting up ...

- Intro and Chorale (00:10): starting with a dialogue between the Chamade 8' and the full HO/SW, concluded with the chorale on full swell that accompanies the solo on HO/HW with Chamade 8'

- Holzregal solo (01:18): Strings accompany the HO/RP Holzregal 16' (8va) + Trem

- Echo miniatures (02:53): Dialogues between the HO and the CO:
- Cornet, Plenum, Foundations, 8'/4'/3' & Small reed 16'

- Clairon 4' (Ped) solo (04:31), accompanied by strings

- Oboe solo (05:37): solo on Oboe (HO/SW) + trem

- Sifflet solo (06:35): solo on 8'/4'/1 1/3' (HO/RP) + trem

- Fagot solo (07:40): solo on Fagot 16' (8va, HO/SW) + trem

- Plenum dialogue (08:32): dialogue between HO plenum and the CO plenum; the first chorale is played on the HO plenum; the final chorale is played with the coupled plena (HO+CO)

- Small reeds together (12:07): chorale on all small reeds coupled

- Final chorale (12:30): Full organ; last chords with Chamade 8' coupled to HO
