Description:
This is my tenth demo of the upcoming sample set by Forestpipes: Waldsassen, Stiftsbasilika (you hear the Beta-version).

More info about this instrument and sample set: https://forestpipes.de/?page_id=1491

It is an improvisation with some variations on the hymn 'Singen wir aus Herzensgrund', a melody that's written about 1544/1589.

That's the reason that I start with a some (more or less) Renaissance sounds in the first variations.

You can hear some dialogues between the Hauptorgel and the Chororgel:

- (00:09): Principals 8'

- (00:58): Cornets V

- (01:42): 8'/4'/3' (CF) and Small reeds 16' (acc)

- (02:24): Small reeds solo and coupled

- (03:06): Small reeds 16'/8'

- (03:47): Small plena

- (04:26): Plena with small reeds coupled (HO+CO)

... and then some variations in a more contemporary character ...

- (05:08) Strings and solo on Sesquialter + trem

- (07:55) Flutes and solo on Flûte harmonique 8′

- (09:12) Flutes and solo on Carillon

- (10:18) Plenum and solo on Chamades: Trompeta real 8′ and Trompeta quinta 5 1/3'

- (11:11) Big Plenum

- (12:05) Turbulance on Plenum and Reeds

- (13:00) Quick march on Big Reeds

- (13:48) Massive march, CF in Bass and Treble

- (15:00) Final Chorale with Full Organ

A lot of colors of this magnificent instrument pass by ...

Enjoy!
