2nd mouvement of Symphony No 3.
Vierne composed the Symphony No 3 during the summer of 1911 in Normandy, at the Dupré family's country house.
The Symphony is dedicated to the young Marcel Dupré - he was 25 -, who gave the first performance in 1912 at the Salle Gaveau in Paris, on an organ (III/39) built in 1900 by Charles Mutin.
