The second Fantasia octavi Toni ex G from manuscript Backer II.2.51 is structurally similar to it's predecessor in the manusript. Both feature three episodes in whoch the themes appear in their 'normal' form and in the inverted form. Often both forms of the themes are juxtaposed. The composer shows his counterpointal prowess by constantly changing the way in which both forms of the themes overlap.
