Festival March (Processional) Uploaded by: Agnus_Dei Composer: Coleman, Richard Organ: Hereford Cathedral Willis Organ Software: Hauptwerk IV Views: 333
This Processional, written by Warren Martin, was written specifically for the annual commencement ceremony of Westminster Choir College in Princeton, NJ which traditionally takes place in the Princeton University Chapel. Martin entered WCC as a student in 1932 and returned in 1951 where he served on faculty for 31 years until his death in 1982.
This Processional offers a perfect opportunity to show off the marvelous Tuba on the St. Mary Redcliffe organ and the piece would make a welcome alternative to Elgar's Pomp and Circumstance for any sort of commencement ceremony.
