Franck of the month is the by turn haunting, beautiful & thrilling second Choral. Somehow it seems to fit with the shortening of the days when the darkness is never far away & the smell of autumn is in the air.
Caen makes a happy bedfellow for this work with its luminous acoustic, beautiful foundations & wonderful 32’ flue. I apologise for the 32’ reed moments, but it does cry out for it, if you have one!
