Many interretsing sets are published. Some producers propose demo licences. I’m today discovering the Bryn Mawr Rieger organ published by Evensong. As I find the set a little « semi-dry », I added some reverberation.
The specification is designed to play classical to modern french music. David and Jonathan published excellent recordings of Langlais and others composers. I decided to record the next part of « Le trésor des chapelles » that I interrupted some months ago at number 24.
The 25th part is composed by Patrice Valentin, composer of a lot of piano music for the Salon and also music for the organ. He seemed to be organist in Toulouse and composed a lot around 1830-1870. I don’t had time to search other informations. His music is full of surprises and is very well suited to this organ. I find these pieces absolutly nice.
