Description:
The moment I heard the Vox Humana on this glorious instrument, I subconsciously drew up a list of pieces that “hero” the Vox.
Franck 2 was an obvious contender & it shows it off & the double-enclosure beautifully!
It also presents an interesting contrast with my earlier “Franck of the month” recording at Caen. Whilst this is clearly not a Cavaille-Coll it gives a wonderful account of this glorious piece.
