On the third Sunday of Advent, which bears the beautiful Latin name "Gaudete," the chorale "O komm, o komm, Emmanuel" is traditionally sung as Introitus in my parish.
I have written my own chorale arrangements for this high point of the Advent season, I tried to compose in the style of the early 17th century.
