The Chorale Prelude on "Quem Pastores" is the first of Healey Willan's Six Chorale Preludes, Set I. It’s beautiful, restful, pastoral nature makes a wonderful contrast with the Walcha version that I uploaded yesterday.
It gives an opportunity to wallow in the beautiful flutes & strings of the Auenkirche organ & a platform for the unusual & delicious Solo-Prinzipal.
