The composer of this fine choral prelude on “Christ unser Herr zum Jordan kam” is unknown. Although it seems a simple manualiter piece, it is very well written and has an undeniable energy and drive. I tried two different approaches when it comes to registration (see the time stamps on the timeline of the video).
Another small difference is that in version 1 the last line starts with a D major chord, the second version starts with a D minor chord.
