| Description: | Although published in France, this music can certainly be played on an English organ, because of the english origin of the composer.
The Reverend Frederick Scotson Clark (Southwark, 16 November 1840 – London, 5 July 1883) was an English organist and composer. He was founder of the London Organ School and College of Music.
It was also an opportunity for me to explore this organ of Ashton produced by SP, whose sound I greatly appreciate. This is also my first recording with an English Romantic organ. I didn't take many risks in choosing the registrations; I hope I stayed fairly true to what can be done with this type of instrument.
