Be Thou My Vision

One or two years ago I discovered this piece. It was nice but I didn't fell in love with it (that's what I usually need to practise a piece of music). A few days ago I rediscovered it and immediately I NEEDED to practise it.

It works perfectly on the Auenkirche organ. I took it a little bit slower than most of the other renditions at CB and YT. But I wanted to give it a more contemplative charactre.

In the first section you hear Viola and Voix Celeste as accompaniment and the beautiful Hohlflöte on the Hauptwerk. Second part on the SW I with Flute 8' and 2'. Last part with full 8' (all 8' couplers) and the 4' stops on the SW II (3rd manual). It ends again quite smooth.
