Bach J.S. - Fantaisie G (Pièce d'orgue) (BWV 572)

The wonderful Bach Piece d'orgue needs little introduction, but I feel that it makes a wonderful introduction to this superb and characterful instrument.

The opening gives the sparkling Brustwerk a chance to shine with the added jangle of the Tertian spicing things up.
The central 5 part Gravement allows the Hauptwerk plenum to show what it is made of and it's immense clarity.
The final lentement adds the Oberwerk chorus (with Sexquialtera) to the HW, now with Trompete. There is a last minute tongue in cheek moment which I hope you will enjoy.....
