Cathédrales (Pièces des Fantaisie Op. 55, 3)

Pipeloops Virtual Pipe Organs is set to release a new sample set at Easter:
the giant Mühleisen from Stuttgart’s Stiftskirche, built in 2004, featuring 84 stops across 4 keyboards and pedal. The acoustics are clearly audible and have been captured to a high standard, with excellent reproduction in the set. I must say, this is going to be more than interesting. I’ve already had a chance to record two pieces on it.

Another piece, which is still being worked on, will follow shortly. In my view, it has become clear that Pipeloops is at the very top of the current sample producers in terms of quality. My personal number one spot is now definitively shared by Sonus Paradisi and Pipeloops.
