This is the last sonatina of a set of 4, which treat the passion hym "O haupt voll Blut und Wunden" (O Sacred Head, Now Wounded)

I did not find much biographical information about the composer, only the following: Arthur B. Plant (1853-1914) was from Staffordshire and served for 40 years as an organist of St. Paul in Burton upon Trent; furthermore he was organist of Derbyshire Masonic Lodge;
