Description:	Johann Caspar Simon (1701–1776) was a German composer, organist, music director, teacher, and merchant of the late Baroque era. One of my absolute favorite pieces is his Prelude and Fugue in D minor. The prelude holds a certain mystical quality for me; for instance, I like to play it as a postlude during the season of Advent. And I can imagine no better instrument for it than the late Baroque Trinity Organ at the Ottobeuren Abbey Basilica!
