The opening "chimes" are played on the Great 8' & 4' flutes, and then the "bells" are rung on the 8' 2' "flutes" of the Swell.
The middle section features the Choir flutes at 16' & 2', which dialgoue with the Solo flutes at 8' and 4'
I had to "adjust" and jumble Purvis' registrations to make this work. It comes close...
A cymbelstern is great on this piece! I start if after the opening chimes, and shut it off during the middle section. The chimes return, and the bells start over again, etc.
