Elevation from Messe pour les Couvents

This is a live, unfiltered, acoustic recording from a recital performed by Dr. Jeremiah Martin on the 5-manual, 44-channel Ambassador Organ using an early version of the dry 80-stop Father Willis sample set from Silver Octopus.

This selection was performed using the Ordinaire temperament, which yields not only several wonderfully spicy notes but also an ending chord completely free of beats.

Please keep in mind this is an unfinished instrument for which a detailed voicing has not been done. Creature noises and air handlers are evident in the recording, but hopefully the organ shines through all that.
