Louis was born in Castel Clementine, on May 11, 1804 to Mr and Mrs Sebastian Angelo Clementi Vecchiotti and Blessed Angela Jaffei. .After primary school he studied in Philosophy with Fermo and music with the master Curci. At age 18 he attended the Conservatory of Bologna and then traveled to Milan to study with master Federici. At age 23, in 1827, he won the competition as director of the Chapel of the Blessed Sacrament in Urbino. In 1841 he was called to lead the Loreto chapel of the Shrine of the Holy House where he remained admired, followed and respected by all until his death in 1863.

Pius IX appointed him Knight of the Order of St. Sylvester and many Academies have appreciated him as a partner. Famous as a composer of sacred music of great value.
