Adam G. Singleton (b. 1978) is Organist and Director of Music at Church of the Holy Child Jesus in Richmond Hill, New York. He has held previous positions in the NYC area and was the first prize winner of the African American Young Artists Performance Competition in 2003 and Improvisation in 2009.
This work was inspired by Jean Langlais’s famous “Chant de Paix” (from 9 Pièces) and is dedicated to the congregation of Christ Evanglical Lutheran Church in Little Neck, New York, where Singleton previously served as organist.
