Description: The Hauptwerk recording of the Carlen organ of the Saint Hyppolyte church in Vouvry in Valais (Switzerland) is for the purpose of preserving an exceptional artistic heritage to be safeguarded for the future. The organ was built by the Carlen family of organ from Valais, probably by Johann Baptist Carlen in 1822.

The virtual organ can never replace the real pipe organ but it is a fantastic tool for the enhancement, the archive and the promotion of the world organ patrimony.

The Hauptwerk version (wet, 2-channel stereo and 4-channel surround) is expanded with the addition of some necessary justifiable extensions, such as the standard extended pedal.
