As a demonstration of the new sample set Wildervank (Walcker 1913) I play the Three Preludes (founded on Welsh Hymn Tunes) by Ralph Vaughan Williams. A note says that these preludes are intended to be played as a series, but can also be performed separately. They are dedicated to Alan Gray.
The second prelude is called Rhosymedre (or "lovely") and is based on a melody by J.D. Edwards (1805 - 1885).
