One of the features of this great sample set that has received very little mention is the sampling of the church's carillon.
This small upload will serve as a brief demonstration of it.
The tune played is the famous Dutch tune listed in most hymnals as "In Babilone". The melody comes from "Oude en Nieuwe Hollanste Boerenlities," which appeared around 1710.
The tune is played through once with some "embellishments" before the "ring" (MY term) is heard 6 times, followed immediately by the tolling of the bell. So, it must be 6 o'clock!
This recording has been "normalized" to quite a high level, so, if you turn up your volume, you'll feel as though you are standing in the street outside of the church.
The volume from within the church is quite soft, as the bells are heard from within, high above the roof, and in the bell tower.

This is just a little something, but I personally think this sounds REALLY COOL! :-)
