Christoph Albrecht (1930–2016) — Phrygisch Präludium (1973) for organ
German composer and organist Christoph Albrecht (1930–2016) was born in Salzwedel and studied organ with Heinz Wunderlich and Günther Ramin. He served in various positions in Naumburg, Halle (1953–60), Dresden (1960–76), and Berlin (1976–93). He also engaged in a number of scholarly pursuits related to liturgical music.
