'Nun komm, der Heiden Heiland' (BWV 659)

I've been wanting to learn this Chorale ever since I first heard it a few years ago during an "organ crawl" in a very reverberant church (which is somewhat unusual for my area.) I was mesmerized. It has since become one of my very favorite organ solo pieces.

I found this really a challenge for me to learn at first, until I found different sheet music that had the right and left hand parts divided up in a way that made a lot more sense.

Recorded with a little additional reverb (Reverberate 2 through Reaper) which really makes the Anloo organ a pleasure to play. I look forward to trying it with HWV.

I was hoping to be the first to record it this Advent season but I see someone beat me to it this morning!
