Description:
To comfort us in this time of Corona-crisis an improvisation over the famous 16th century song: ‘Ik wil mij gaan vertroosten, in Jesu lijden groot’. I comfort myself with Jesus great suffering, is the message of this beloved Lenten-hymn. A message fitting in this time of Lenten ánd suffering.

The last sentence of each couplet is: ‘O Jesu, zie mij aan’. O Jesus, look at me! Or more: have mercy upon me.

The text is attributed to Johannes Brugman.
