Description:
Hello, all!

I’d like to share a postlude from Mass inspired by the words from the Mass dismissal (and the great truth we celebrate at Christmas!) - “The Word Made Flesh”. I played (I should probably say that I attempted to play) this improvised postlude in the grand style of the French organists. I hope the exuberance is not only apparent, but also contagious!!

For this postlude (on the Feast of Our Lord's Nativity - Christmas Eve) I combined the resources of the 1903 Cavaillé-Coll pipe organ at the Church of Notre-Dame in Metz, France with the timpani and a touch of piano from the Yamaha EL-90 (which MIDI ‘hosts’ the virtual pipe organ). I hope you enjoy it!

Merry Christmas!
