Here is now a completely revised version of my Prelude Fugue and Chorale on "Wie schön leuchtet der Morgenstern".
There were some annoying gaps because of overlapping notes, which I filled.
Bach's greatest organ work (BWV552) has always made a strong impression on me, so I also set the prelude in the style of a French overture. To document this closeness, I have set the whole (formerly D major) half a tone higher (E flat major) and play the piece on the Mascioni organ to Azzio. It is not large, this beautiful organ, but it allows the listener to clearly differentiate the voices, which is imperative in the dense movement.
I also slowed down the tempo a little bit.
The score of this piece is attached below.
Unlike many of my other pieces, this prelude is quite playable, I would be very happy if someone would take up this challenge ;-))
Now I wish you much joy with this revised version!
