Description: | And again, a melody by Jean-Paul that I discovered in the last few days has inspired me to compose a fugue. It's about the beautiful piece "Piece facile 2", which Jean-Paul put online a long time ago. I was able to take the score from the beautiful video and so, step by step, this work came together. I adopted the quiet tempo of 96 beats per minute and paid special attention to the eighth note triplets. It is not at all easy to play 2 eighth notes parallel to the triplets, towards the end this is demanded excessively, which - in my opinion - unfortunately makes the piece difficult to play, but also much more interesting ....
The piece is harmonically very colourful, but because of the strict tonality and the rhythm, the impression of a baroque piece of music remains. Have fun listening now! |
