ENGLISH TRANSLATION:
1. Praise God, you Christains, all together,
the one who sits on the highest throne,
today unlocks his heavenly kingdom
by giving us his Son.

3. He demonstrates his great strength,
by becoming humble and small,
taking on the form of a servant,
though the Creator of all things.

4. He makes a wonderful exchange with us:
he takes on flesh and blood
and gives us a revelation of God's glory
in his Father's kingdom.

5. He becomes a servant and I a master,
what an exchange this is!
How could he be more friendly,
dearest Jesus.

6. Today he again unlocks the door,
the cherubim no longer block our access
into God's beautiful paradise;
to God be the glory, honour and praise!
