I discoverd British organist and composer Alec Rowley's Nine Hymn Tune Voluntaries early this year, but what stuck with me most was the No.8, Voluntary on Old Hundredth.
It is a grand, majestic peice, which seems just meant for booming round a cathedral.
Which is why it is here recorded on the Salisbury Cathedral Father Willis organ.
Enjoy.
I am a young student organist, so any feedback, comments, or constructive criticism is welcome!
