Prelude and fugue in G BWV 541 Uploaded by: PLRT Composer: Bach, J. S. Organ: Krzeszow Organ by Michael Engler (1732-37) Software: Hauptwerk IV Views: 808
This piece is well known, often played, but there are quite different recordings and interpretations, especially of the Fugue. Dupré himself does it very legato with only few phrasing. I've tried to keep it somewhere in the middle. Anches 8' et 4' means Reeds and Mixtures in French registration, so also the Cornet and the sparkling Carillon of the Aristide (Rouen) Swell have been used here.
