Pastorale

This is calm pastorale by Walter Battison Haynes (1859, Malvern - 1900), which I found in book, called "Victorian Collection for organ".
Unfortunately, i do know nearly nothing about him. I have found, that he was probably a pupil of Jadasohn in Leipzig, bevor moging to London as a professor of the Royal Academy of Music. There are some more works of him available at IMSLP.

I have uses the Oboe, the Clarinet and the English horn in alternation for the solo melody.
