This is one piece from two volumes of Chorale Preludes based on hymn tunes written by Charles Parry. It shows some off some of the quieter stops of Hereford Cathedral organ.
The solo melody is registered using 8' Claribel Flute, 8' Lieblich Gedacht and the 4' Lieblich Flute on the Choir. It is accompanied by Swell 8' Stopped Diapason, 8' Open Diapason and 4' Flute with 16' Bourdon and 8' Stopped Flute in the Pedal.
