Uploaded by: Aida (Ida as in Idaho) (08/15/18)
Composer: Barber, Samuel
Sample Set: FCCLA Skinner & Chancel additions (revoiced)
Software: Hauptwerk
Genre: Post-Romantic
For this recording I revoiced the Chancel Pedal, Great, Choir, Swell, Solo, Gospel and Echo divisions plus the Gallery Swell on the 1969 Schlicker organ, 146 stops total. I didn't use the 99 neo baroque stops of the sample set for this 'romantic' music). Meanwhile I've revoiced the entire sample set.

Result: much more open and transparent and finally no problems with adding reverbs anymore. It's a (semi-) dry set. The boxiness (over-accentuation of certain -- mostly lower -- frequencies) has disappeared and the set has become much more balanced tonally.

Compare to my upload from before the revoicing (same registrations):

Below you can find 2 typical examples (Sw-Gedeckt and Ch-Harp/Celesta) showing I haven't been holding back when revoicing.

I was also asked for the MIDI file. You can find that below as well (just the notes).
