Johann Ludwig Krebs (1713-1780) was a favored student of J.S. Bach and composed quite a number of works for the organ. Despite his virtuosity and gift for composition, he never achieved widespread recognition or success during his lifetime.

This prelude is a lot of fun to play! It certainly gives the pedals a workout.
