Three chorale settings of the Genevan Psalm 23 inspired by a great setting of Paschal de l'Estocart (1538/39-1587), which is heard in the second verse. The first verse is a setting with cantus firmus in the soprano part, the third setting has a dreamy descant evoking the 'still waters' and 'oil' from the psalm text.
