This guy is new to me. However, the price for his organ books was cheap enough on Amazon so I thought why not? They are described as being a collection of easy pieces - they can be played on manuals or with pedals. We've all been in situations where we need some music fast that sounds good and is sight readable. Well this books seems to fit the bill.
This book contains numerous short preludes and chorals, as well as other short works under two minutes long. I will combine some together every so often. No rhyme or reason why these are grouped together. A highlight of the Klais organ for me is the Salicet 4 foot on the Swell, which appears in the 3rd piece. It has a great bell/percussiony effect to it. The meditation is strange for me. I played it as the first piece from the book and I loved it. Listened to a few recordings. Came back a couple of days later to record it and I had kind of gone off it! The adoration is a lovely little piece.
