"Joie et clartè des Corps Glorieux" is the sixth piece of the cycle "Les Corps Glorieux" composed for organ by Olivier Messiaen in 1939 Saint-Théoffrey (Isère) and Concluded A week before the Declaration of the Second World War. The work follows the path of musical thought theological around the mysteries of the Catholic faith. The work eschatological system (the resurrection of the dead will take place before the Last Judgement) is evident from the title that allude to the quality of the Body of the Resurrected That, glorified the imperishable grace of Heaven, will have unique features. The Collection is composed of seven pieces, in each of which describe a particular quality of the glorious bodies.
