Starting in on the 2nd half of Henry's 24 preludes and fugues, here is #13 in Bb minor. The prelude is a moto perpetuo spinning song, featuring soft flutes and foundations. Jazz harmonies are heard in the arpeggios, and the romp comes to a rushing upwards close. The fugue is thematically related, a tortuous chromatic downward theme which builds to a mighty stretto and a surprising conclusion.
This and #14 will be available shortly, we've now also released a complete volume of the first 12, several were sold at the AGO National Convention in Kansas City.
This also marks my first upload with Aristide - it's taken a few tries to get used to it... but I do love the sound.
